How it STARTS Not STATRS. They have Police embroidered on their uniforms and they are apprehending lawbreakers that are dressed in Antifa gear at 2 in the morning while they are smashing windows, writing graffiti, and looting. Ignorance is bliss.
It's not funny how law enforcement is the problem. Federal authorities are there lawfully. To say otherwise is indicative of ignorance.

They are protecting a federal Court house, the law enforcement are barricaded in, the looters and rioters are trying to break in and have done so in very coordinated efforts and been met with non-lethal force which is a huge mistake by Trump they should disperse the rioters and use what ever force is necessary. He is protecting federal property and the rights of law abiding citizens. 54 plus days of a insurrection is not acceptable in America .

Portland's mayor was tear gassed last night while talking to the protesters.
According the Sec of Homeland Security, Portland has had 59 straight days of violent protesting. Enough I say!!! He also stated that Portland has had 54 straight days of peaceful protesting up until midnight. Then the violent protesters, thugs, and gangs takeover from midnight until 5am armed with explosives and molotov cocktails. To allow that to go on for 2 months, I do put that on the mayor and the governor. Yeah, it's BS to bring in the Trump gestapo. I'm all for bringing in the National Guard, and be up front about it.
In the past 10 years, Portland has turned from one of our most beautiful cities into a shyte hole. The sanctuary city BS has escalated the problem. People who live there have been telling me for a couple years how tent cities have sprung up underneath every highway overpass, panhandlers on every street corner, and thousands of homeless roaming the streets.
Again, the peaceful daytime protesters aren't the problem. But 59 straight days of violence is enough. Since the mayor or governor won't handle the situation, bring in the feds. I don't think the good people of Portland would mind one bit. They are fed up, too. Just don't do it under the cover of darkness and covert actions. Right or wrong, no city should have to put up with the BS going on in Portland.

And I remember the '60s. No president can prevent protests, nor should peaceful protests be prevented. It's how the president's reacts that counts. Did Ferguson have 2 straight months of violent rioting? NO!! The president's words are needed to calm the violence and, yes, a show of force is needed, but with restraint. A true leader deescalates the situation, not throw gas on it.

These protests are mostly peaceful has been the narrative. This is like saying a guy that beats his wife once a month is a good man.

Trump has fumbled the ball on protests as well as covid. Words matter. He has done nothing to bring calm to the nation and be a president for all of America. Every word and action he has taken has incited and divided people, at least until his momentary flip flop on covid on Monday.

I agree presidents can't prevent protest..Trump reactions has been to basically let the Violent activist do what ever they want as long as they don't siege the Federal court house. The Fed's boarded up Windows, put up fences and stayed hunkered down that is deescalation...of course they must act once the rioters cross the line and breech the Walls or come close to doing so if they Insurgents would not attack no response .....but the Violent activist have the full support of the Elected officials in that state So why back down why not keep up the mayhem .....Nothing Trump would or could say would make a difference.
I do wish he would cut bait with Portland and Oregon, move the Marshals out, give them the Court house but make sure the feds don't foot the bill for the rebuild.

The violence is being put forth by trained activist.....BLM activist. This is clearly part of their plan.
