Norm Stewart is picked for the new National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, but there is no Gene Bess on the list?!?!?!

I don't care about the Raiders at all, but two national titles and more wins than anyone in the history of collegiate basketball is not enough to get him in???

WOW!

Six coaches will join Stewart: Phog Allen of Kansas; Adolph Rupp of Kentucky; Henry Iba (Oklahoma A&M; John McLendon (Tennessee State); Charles “Lefty” Driesell (Davidson, Maryland, James Madison and Georgia State); and Guy Lewis of Houston.

These guys are all deserving, but good grief! Gene Bess should get in over Stewart, McClendon, Driesell and Lewis - EASILY.

Unfortunately, Coach Bess gets overlooked and forgotten all the time. People forget (or don't realize) he has more wins that Dean Smith and Pat Summitt. His career has been absolutely amazing. He will eventually get his due someday. No doubt about it.
