Just curious because I haven't seen Lock play. Are they similar-type basketball players?

Both shoot the ball very well from deep. Drew is bigger, a little taller, a little larger.
both are very competitive.
Lock is more athletic, not saying Cullen isn't but saying Lock is super athletic. Anyone who can play quarterback at the D1 level and is one of the top basketball players in the state is a special athletic. If Lock wanted to play basketball at Mizzou he could. Both have a high basketball IQ.

Can't compare Drew to Cullen as I haven't seen Cullen play but I agree with the previous post. Drew is about as pure a shooter and natural athlete as you will see. He had offers from Oklahoma, Wichita State, and Missouri in basketball before the start of the Junior Year. He would be a pretty versatile player at the next level as he could play the 2 and 3 pretty naturally and play a stretch 4 like Kim English did his senior year.

Drew throws a tighter spiral...

I have seen Lock play more than I have VanLeer. Lock is taller, stronger, probably more versatile player. Not sure who shoots the ball better, they are both bombers. I think Lock could play major D-I, be a good but not great player. VanLeer maybe a notch below that.

I'm sure I'll get slaughtered on here for that opinion.
