How do you score this?

Runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs.
Kid hits a groundball to SS, runner on 3rd goes home and scores, runner on 2nd stays put, and batter beats out throw to 1B.
However, kid on 2nd goes to 3rd really late and is caught in rundown and is tagged out going back to 2nd base.
Is this a base hit, fielder's choice, ???
Thanks for any help. Also, would the hitter get an RBI?

Yes he gets an RBI and I assume they tried to throw him out at first since you said he beat it out. So I am assuming they got the runner from 2nd out after making the throw to 1st. It's a hit.

I would score it an infield single and an RBI with the runner on 2nd out trying to advance to 3rd on a throw.
