This is true, everybody makes mistakes. But I wish I had a way to post this video for you. This catch wasn't even possible and there's absolutely no way this guy could have made a "mistake." It wasn't close, or an optical illusion. This call defied all logic and laws of physics. There was a side judge standing right next to the play, yet this official somehow "saw" something that no one else in the stadium saw. The Holden player never even protested or claimed to have made a catch.I was calling Maryville vs Chillicothe. MSHSAA guy that grades officials was next to me. At halftime my commentator guy showed a replay on his phone via HUDL, and the MSHSAA guy agreed, should not have been a flag against Chillicothe. Guess no one is perfect.
