I'm hoping to see a good one tonight. I'm afraid this one may end up 20 points or better as the Bulldogs are so quick and athletic. What are your thoughts?

I saw Hillsboro play last Friday night against Farmington. Sikeston is known for its uptempo / transition offense, but it seemed Hillsboro likes to do the same. They also seemed willing to back it out when a break did not yield the right numbers. They are well-coached and look to be under control.

I am expecting a very good game because at this point in the season a team can't afford to overlook anyone.

Sikeston played well against Cape Central last Friday evening and I'm guessing the Bulldogs are back and ready to compete on a high level in the sectionals and quarters. I have heard a lot of good things about the Hillsboro Hawks. The Hawks have a good " Man in the Middle " which could cause Sikeston problems but Sikeston can counter with " Reliable Fred " and Kevin Jones who are the heart and sole of the Bulldog team. The winner here will get their " Opportunity " in the quarters against the defending class 4 state champions, Vashon unless St. Mary's pulls a rabbit out of the hat tonight.

This is an exciting time of the year for the players, Parents and Fans. I am having a problem on selecting which game to attend in the St. Louis area. The St. Mary's-Vashon game could have interest but I'm afraid Kelvin Lee goes home.

The Parkway Central-Borgia game @ kirkwood could be interesting. I am hearing the athletic Parkway Central will not lay down and will fight the bigger Borgia Knights to finish.

I would think given the choice I would have to attend Vashon-St. Mary's. A Sikeston-Vashon matchup on Saturday would be fun to see
