Hillsboro having some success with running the ball and controlling the clock. Ritter fumbled on the goal line, trying to reach the ball over the goal line. Good game at Hillsboro.

Ritter went with Boyd 2nd half at QB and it made the difference. Not sure why they played the other kid???
boyd is a soph, he’s very good. Also from East St. Louis. Came in late July.

Moving in this direction. They are crushing everyone and no way am I considering them and Kennett for GOTW.......
Valle will beat Kennett as bad as they want. Not a foregone conclusion that Valle wins district but they will be favorite over PHC and should win (that’s a dang good Class 3 district). Valle and Cardinal Ritter in quarterfinal will be a good game. I would rate it as a toss up. Winner has edge to being state champ. That’s how I see it. Not that it’s worth much. .

C Ritter has too much talent for Valle or anybody else out of District 1. C Ritter Soph QB Carson Boyd is flat out fast and elusive. They throw the ball well - several big plays by basically putting a lot of air under it and 6'2" receivers Moore (Michigan verbal) and Ryan Boyd go up and get it. Opponents D backs better have some size or Ritter will exploit them. Marvin Burks, Jr at RB and safety is a blue chip recruit. Ritter O Line is huge. D Line had Hills QB on the run when passing. Too much talent at Ritter for any small town school team. Their Achilles heal may be penalties and fumbles.

Valle has overcome talent deficits before.
Ritter isn't St. Mary's.
