Saw your question from the other day about my favorite pitcher. Had a busy summer traveling and she is looking at several colleges now.

OK good luck with that. Let me know if she would like to make a visit down this way and throw for Coach Jack and Christa.

I'll let her know. She is wanting to stay close to home if possible, but a lot depends and what kind of help she can get with her tuition.

She has had great pitching coaches for years, so I'd like to think there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow LOL.

Yeah ya gotta watch out for some of those "scholarships" at 4 year schools. Many of them don't cover any where near what it costs to go there. Looks like 3R has a real good freshman class here now to go with the returning sophomores, including at least one very sold pitcher that also hit extremely well in high school. We'll see how that pans out in the fall scrimmages and when the real season starts next February. Coach Jack went to see good pitcher in the St. Louis area today that is a senior now. Never have enough pitching when you play double headers every time out.

I think Avery would be happy at a small school where she could get a lot of her education covered. She works her tail off at everything she does, so I have no doubt she will do well wherever she goes. She has competed against the best teams for years, so she has a good feel for what she will be up against.

My nephew pitched at William Woods and ended up getting almost everything paid for, so if she can do that at a small school and be close to home I'm sure she would love that.

Shoot me an email sometime on what how she could arrange meeting Coach Jack and throwing for him.
