At least it's a straight shot on I-70. That's about as easy as you can get for longer distances. Most of the schools are in the Westplex so that helps.

I talked with a St Marys person this summer, they had said it was going to happen, but I did not believe him because of the travel.

True, I suppose. Just lotsa highway windshield time. Makes me miss coaching in the FRC. Glass half full for the Tolton/Helias boys. Can always try to talk coach into heading north up Grand a couple miles after playing St Marys. Grab a steak at Tuckers before the long jaunt home.

Helias had problems scheduling games as an independent, and having to play mainly class 5-6 schools is rough. Last season they were looking for games one or two states over so this works for them!

Helias's scheduling problem is real easy now. 5 AAA division games, then play 3 Columbia schools and Hannibal. Schedule done.
