Some schools considering moving Friday games to Thursday, Saturday looking bad as well.

@thetophat

And, just a smidge late.
I am getting ready (NWCMO Pick Em players take early note) to go to the Louisiana gulf coast middle of next month..............Hurricane season expected to peak in October as well, again a smidge late.

Coaches would want to know now to decide what to do at practice today.

Now will Spectrum still televise it? I am going there tomorrow night gotta see this one regardless of what day..............
Everyone please continue to post game day/time changes..............helps me immensely! Thanks in advance!

Excelsior Springs at Harrisonville, 7 pm
Liberty vs Lee's Summit North, 7 pm
Lee's Summit West at Staley 7 pm
Lee's Summit at Park Hill South, 7 pm
Park Hill at Raymore-Peculiar, 7 pm
Van Horn vs Northeast, 7 pm
William Chrisman vs Truman, 7 pm
Winnetonka vs Grain Valley, 7 pm

I will tell you 810 Varsity will be broadcasting the Liberty @ Lee’s Summit North game. I will be on the call personally. But should be a fun ball game. Both teams coming off close losses, and looking for wins as we head down the stretch of the year. Big matchup for seedings, in Class 6 District 4 as well.

If anyone on here is attending the Kearney homecoming game hosting Grandview kickoff has been moved up Friday to 5:30 PM.

Liberty isn't that bad. They are one of a number of teams in this area who need to show more offensively, though, to be a factor come November.

Never said they were bad. Will be an interesting game to say the least. I’m more focused on the Liberty D this week and seeing if they can slow down Keyon Mozee like PH did last week.

That was not directed at you. I think it is a general feeling at least from my perspective that Liberty is a notch below the top tier C6 teams in the area. Last Friday showed me otherwise to some degree............

Don't they have a separate soccer field? What schools don't that is crazy.
A lot of schools cannot afford 2 separate fields, especially if they have turfed the football field, usually easier, and more economical, to play both on same field.

Got ya. I think they are right there with some of the top tier teams. On their day they can beat anyone from the District. District 4 has in my opinion 6 or even 7 teams that can win it if they get hot. But I think a top 4 has certainly not taken control of it

What did they do before they had turf? We still have our old soccer field and they split games when needed. and we are in what has been describe as poor SWMO....so you telling me that KC districts cannot afford that?

I know for example, Kearney has 1 field for soccer and football. The bigger KC districts might be able to afford 2, I'm just saying not all can.

Wow Kearney cannot afford it, I didn't know those surrounding districts were that bad off, So I guess SWMO is not as bad as some have tried to describe on here....
