Has their ever been less interest in the beginning of a season?

I don't remember every hearing this little about the Cardinals, nor do I remember their being less excitement about the beginning of a new season. Has to go back to the late 80's - mid 90's of mediocrity I would think.

We are all just waiting to get to the post season…….

Needless to say, the excitement has died down even more. Heard there was some boos at the game yesterday. Wasting a lot of solid pitching efforts with no run support.

At the start of a season, interest can sometimes be unusually low due to several factors. This can occur when there is a lack of compelling storylines, underwhelming performance from key teams, or limited media coverage. Additionally, competing events, poor weather, or general audience fatigue from the previous season can contribute to reduced enthusiasm. In some cases, changes calculadora de finiquito in format or controversial decisions by organizers can alienate loyal fans, further dampening interest. These factors, combined, can result in a quieter-than-usual kickoff for a new season.

Thanks bro.
In this case the cardinals were a horrible team to watch and did next to nothing to improve during the off season. So, little interest at the start.

They have shown so far that they can score runs better than last year. Even if a team isn’t going to win, being competitive with decent offense makes it interesting. It’s a long, long season.

The Cardinals haven’t generated much excitement lately, likely due to their struggles since the late ’80s to mid-’90s. It was a different time when they were more competitive. Hopefully, they can turn things around soon.

Still lower interest, but they are playing pretty solid ball right now. Have some guys who run the bases, have cut down on the strikeouts, hitting is obv greatly improved, and pitching has been better than expected. Would be fun to see if they can sustain it.

Looked and saw that Goldschmidt is hitting almost .350 w the Yankees.

They have surprised so far. But I think they are playing over their head. I do not think the pitching can stay at this level for the long haul. But baseball is a strange game.
