THE OZARKS
Just set the new single season rushing yards record yesterday with a total of 5,661 yards on the season.

They will play Colorado School of Mines for the D2 championship.

The Mines qb has a got a good arm. Can move a bit too. Harding would be wise to burn that clock with the ground game and keep them off the field.

I spent some of my formative years near Searcy. Interesting area.

Nixa's head coach played at Harding, saw a pic of him on X from 92-93. He looked like a beast.

Watched some of the game. They looked like a wrecking crew this weekend.

They barely got by UCM 35-34, and Grand Valley, 7-6, in the previous rounds.

Harding runs for over 500 yards and blows out Mines 38-7 for the D2 National championship.

This game put Harding over 6,100 rushing yards as a team on the season. A new D2 record by almost 600 yards.
The last record was from 2013. I have a feeling this record will last even longer.

It was good to see Blake Delacruz out of Parkview get some prime time tv coverage. Glad to see he’s doing well and representing our local areas talent.
I had seen that. I think I read he had over 200 yards in the title game. Outstanding.
Parkview has definitely had some studs over the years that have went unnoticed.

You know, WP had an All-American at Harding back in the early 2000s, Travis DeSisso broke his leg his senior year at WP, he was the starting QB and Safety, but obviously had to sit out due to injury, ended up with a scholarship to Harding and was a D2 all American at DB by the time he was done there.
