Against Pacific. Sullivan runs gadget defenses so much that they are really good at it.

Sullivan used a triangle and 2 against Pacific tonight. Sullivan defeated Pacific by 16-17 points to win the Four Rivers Conference. The Indians did indeed look like they were in the dark on how to attack. You must give Dino McKinney credit for preparing a near perfect game plan on senior night in Sullivan, Missouri.

Study, I saw you sitting on the top row in your favorite seat. I wanted to say hello but I tried to beat the crowd. I told my wife how successful you were as a basketball coach and you were the all time wining coach in Sullivan high school history. I 'll make sure I speak with you the next time @ Sullivan game. Here's my updated class 4 district 6 top four teams.

1.Parkway West-( beat Jennings tonight 53-51 )-----18-5
2, Sullivan-------------------------------------------------------18-6
3. Borgia---------------------------------------------------------
4. Pacific--------------------------------------------------------15-8

Sorry I missed you metro. Coach McKinney would be an interesting clinic speaker on his gadget defenses. If Parkway West isn't a dominant-type team (and I'd like your analysis), this district is shaping up to be very competitive. Your listing is how I see the top four seeds.
Woodcock has developed into quite a scorer. Inside moves, outside shooter with range even with somebody in his face and also crashing the boards. He really "finishes" his moves well. He's a force.
Sullivan has a nice team and they play with intensity. I'm very happy for Coach McKinney and this team. It was a "tough blow" losing a great player like Caleb Pryor for the season.
metro, on a different note, Austin signed with Missouri Western. Scout rated him as a 2 star. Nice to be ranked nationally. As you know, the MIAA is a great D2 football conference.

Studlyduck I was wondering if Austin got any offers from FCS (D-1AA) schools? I figured he might have from watching his film. Or at least had serious interest.

Quite a few Preferred Walk On chances at FCS and an intriguing FBS late. Many opportunities at non athletic scholarship-type FCS schools if he would have pursued it. He knows he's valued highly at Missouri Western and was rewarded for that.
Recruiting was interesting in that, many schools wanted him and some "really" wanted him. We could tell.
It was somewhat hectic late in the process, but a lot of fun.

Well he can play and he sounds like a great kid on top of that. Hope all goes well for him at Missouri Western. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Gameday. It'll be interesting as to if he gets redshirted. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing him playing as a 22 year-old instead of an 18 year-old in that conference. But he's looking forward to whatever the situation is.
