Getting there. Still got 5 weeks to go!Time to polish up for districts
Would be fun but I dont wanna look to far ahead.Just saw Ty Williams had 6 touchdowns
Run: 70, 30, 13, 1, 65 Receive: 61
Where was this kid last year?
GV has put up 171 points in their first four games all against teams that will make it to their C5/C6 district championship or semifinals. I don't know how the sectionals are lined up this year, but I see Ritter vs. Grain Valley at some point.
That can only happen in the State championship game. Now official (shock I know) watch WEBB CITY. A very likely quarterfinal opponent for whomever emerges from District 8.Just saw Ty Williams had 6 touchdowns

Just going down the listFort should have 4 easy games leading up to finale with Oak Park (although SJC is 4-0!)
Hard time figuring out where Fort stands in this district. They outplayed Blue Springs the first quarter and a half, but two terrible turnovers swung the momentum, and then they came back and were up 21-20 going into end of third, but got screwed on a fumble recovery called down and then Blue Springs used that opportunity to score followed by a pick 6 sealed it.
Anthony Thompson seems to have 15-20 tackles a week. Peppers still gets his 200 and the coaches started the game with a lot more passing, which seemed to open it up for Peppers to gain a lot more yards once the 2nd quarter hit. Last year they had Peppers and Fenner. They don't have that dual threat this year, and they also don't have the big DT Bransteitter clogging up the middle which I think is why they are giving up a lot more rushing yards. Their QB has done a good job in his first year at the helm.
Blue Springs is loaded with sophomores and juniors. Curious where they are a year from now.
After last night's results I am going to head over to Platte City Friday to see how THEY react to their first loss (GV sure did well as noted) hosting Oak Park. I think Fort will be fine just avoid the injury bug and use the next month to work things out.Fort should have 4 easy games leading up to finale with Oak Park (although SJC is 4-0!)

i think oak park wins by 2 scores, they are a well coached team and they spend alot of time in the film room. Probably the most respectful sideline ive worked and personally watched their coach bench a starter for talking down to a teammate, in a tight ballgame. They are coached well and execute just as well. After last night's results I am going to head over to Platte City Friday to see how THEY react to their first loss (GV sure did well as noted) hosting Oak Park. Young PC first test coming off a loss will be interesting to see how they react. They'll also be looking for another RB.... Though I wouldn't be shocked if Thompson slid in. Dude is a monster. Reminds me of Von Young a few years back.Turnovers led directly to 3 bs short field scores. Youth on defense, lack of big play potential other than Peppers on offense and inexperince at qb are the weak spots for Fort so far. I think Fort can point to next season....but the question will be breaking in a new qb again next seson.
If Thompson was 2 inches taller he'd be a top 20 recruit in state. As it is, he is a GREAT hs football player.

You are right.... for some reason in my mind I was thinking he was a Sr..... Kid has done well for so long, feels like he's older than he is.Peppers is just a junior so thankfully he'll be back. I agree with the Von Young reference.
