Grain Valley 33 Raytown 0 10:41 4th

Nobody talks much about Grain Valley on here. They demolished Raytown last night. Raytown weakness isn't offense and they shut them out 43-0.
Arguably, Blue Springs South was the 2nd or 3rd best Class 6 team in KC this year and GV beat them. They barely lost to a very good OP team earlier in the season and I wouldn't count their week 1 loss against Fort for either school (bad game on both sides).
Fort vs. GV is going to be the 4th time both teams have faced each other in the last two seasons. These two districts border one another. GV's athletic director is the former Fort athletic director. A lot of these kids played Pop Warner together and some might have been on the 2015 Pop Warner National Championship team together? End of the line for them. I don't see a blowout like last year's sectional game. It will be a dogfight with both teams loaded with seniors.

Totally agree. GV has been flying under the radar after a couple of early season losses.

I think Grain Valley is the best class 5 team in the KC area. I want them to represent well once they play the St. Louis schools. I think the class 5 schools in the KC area have been under the radar all year long, especially when Ft. Osage lost to Kearney and Grain Valley had early losses. However, both teams have really turned it on as of late!!
