You have to win 1 game in the NFL
But have to run Power every play
And can pick any RB in history
Who’s your guy?

Somehow not surprised by all the Mike Alstott votes pouring in.
Only on Mosports...
He averaged 3.7 yards per carry for his career. What is wrong with Alstott? 6'1 250 and was a beast?
Alstott over one of the greatest athletes of all time. Makes since to me.He averaged 3.7 yards per carry for his career.
Not in the same league as a runner as the rest of this list.

But...he doesn't look like he could be from BFE southwest Missouri.Other, give me Peterson.
Peterson In his prime is my choice. ALL DAY!
did he just go out of bounds?
You mean like a BUS!Yeah, and then reclined on the opposing bench like a boss.
Doesn't matter how it is played now. OP says run power every play.No matter who you would pick all these players, even Peterson to a certain extent, are parts of a bygone era. This is just not how football is played anymore.
That is because the vast majority of his carries were in short yardage situations. I remember in the late 90's early 2000's if the Bucks had a lead in the 4th they would move Alstott to tailback and everyone knew the game was over! Death 3 yards at a time.He averaged 3.7 yards per carry for his career.

Barry Sanders not a power back?
