Will. I got to see Will at Spring ball for Big Red back in the day. I had a life-changing moment listening to the old line coach as he took the snap from center directing what was then the premier run game. At the time, I had no clue who Will was. Then Will came to KC and I watched at mini camps. His influence as a prototype guard that was good enough to play left tackle makes him the best in my opinion. He changed KC football, from MS on up or at the least with my kids. I came full circle when I played pick up basketball with him at his gym. Real gentleman.
McDaniel easily. Dude was the most versatile guard of my time.
I mean you obviously can't go wrong with any of them. I believe Shields and him are tied for consecutive pro bowls.
McDaniel was a freak athlete for a guard. Ran a 10.46 100m dash. Would line up at fullback on short yardage or goaline.

Great question, I have a soft spot for Bruce Matthews. I had him, Allen, and Shields in my top 3.

Quentin Nelson is an absolute creature. Zack Martin is another young guard I really like.
Going old school. Bruce Matthews and John Hannah. Just bulldozers with attitude.
Don't forget about Nate Newton. I would go Nate Newton and Larry Allen, although John Hannah is tempting, he was more of a straight ahead. Guess I am showing my allegiance, but a lot of chiefs fans are picking will shields doing the same
