Don't be Surprised IF:
1. Good from Bolivar is 3rd in the 200m Dash
2. Galvin beats out Baldwin for 2nd in the 400m Dash
3. Usery from Berkeley is a top 3 finisher in the 800m Run. In fact the 800 race should be one of the best at State this year since it could be won by either Allison, Ross, Heibel or Usery. It should be that GOOD since the field is stacked with talent and that also includes Barbey from St. Francis Borgia and Stubbs from Platte County. Remember Allsion is the defending Champion here.
4. Castleberry from Perryville beats Bess from Farmington for 2nd in the 100m Hurdles. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if McReynolds from Pembroke Hill snuck in at 3rd.
5. MICDS could sneak by Lutheran North for 3rd in the 4x100 and don't be surprised if Festus finishes 3rd or 4th since they will be running against some tougher competition.
6. Bolivar could beat MICDS for 3rd. Give the advantage to MICDS though since they have already had to compete against both University City and Berkeley in this race.
7. Festus could finish either 3rd or 2nd in the 4x400 Relay. Usually Allison has just ran the 3200m Race when this one comes around. Look for the team to just qualify on Friday for Saturday. Then look for a fresh Allison on Saturday to anchor this team to either a 2nd or 3rd place finish. Berkeley should win this outright but a good performance from all 4 Festus runners might give Festus the best chance against the team favored to win.
8. Berkeley might get Kearney in the 4x800 race.
9. Borman will have to show up at State if she wants to defend her state title from last year. Either she is playing possum and just waiting for state or Winslow and Albrecht are actually that much better while she has slipped a bit. (Injury????)
10. Dady from Oak Grove could finish 3rd in the Long Jump.
11. Reardon and Lauer might flip flop positions on the Triple Jump and don't be surprised if Johnson from Moberly beats one or both of them for 2nd or 3rd.
12. Don't be surprised if Borman of Festus finally edges Roach of Lutheran South. However expect Roach to win another close contest here.

**I do believe Bess only has beaten Castleberry once and that was at Sectionals.
**I think you have underestimated the Ste.Gen. girls in the 4x800(don't go by district and sectional times) they have ran in the 9:40s already this year. They just did enough to win at the last two meets...they had the girls in other crucial races that day as well.
**Diebold will win the Pole Vault(my opinion)

ppms. You are absolutely correct in your assumptions. Both of you have done your homework. Ste. Gen. will finish in the top 3 in the 3200 relay, you can take that to the bank.

I would agree 100%. They will be in the top 3, no doubt in my mind. It would not surprise me at all if they win it.

In the Girls 100M Dash, I'll take Dee Dee Sieckmann of Owensville for 2nd place behind Usery.
