Georgia Ballot counting change is GOOD

So people need to understand that the new rules do not change the way VOTES are counted at all.

The total number of BALLOTS in each precinct must be counted by hand.

At the end of the counting process if Trump gets 1,600,000 VOTES,,,,and Harris gets 1,300,000 votes

Then the 2,900,000 total VOTES cast should match up with 2,900,000 BALLOTS presented to and counted by poll workers.

Democrats are always running their mouths about disenfranchised voters,,,why would they not want to make sure everything adds up????

I understand the idea. Like a lot of ideas, I don't mind the idea. But, also like a lot of ideas, it has some large inherent flaws and fails to consider unintended consequences. Hand counting is not a panacea. In fact, it's likely to be less accurate, especially in the hands of bad actors (which is not too hard to imagine since it would be counted at the precinct level, of which there are hundreds), but also in the hands of well-meaning people.

It could take 3 or 4 days to count all of those ballots by hand, and when the numbers start coming in on smaller precincts, someone will declare victory and ignore the larger voting blocks that will come in much later after they are all counted.

That’s another thing,,,it’s damn near impossible to count votes and verify in less than 24 hours. No results from anywhere should be released until like Friday at 5pm to take pressure off of poll workers and give them time to do their job

There is one guy who will claim the delayed results in Georgia and Pennsylvania (both caused by GOP BS) are evidence of nefarious rigging of the election by democrats. You know exactly what guy will say this. And you know it will hurt confidence in our election process and hurt our country just like in 2020.

Surely you're not that stupid... It will take urban Atlanta "slightly longer" to hand count ballots than say Gomerville County !
