Game 3 post all star break

Another game in which we have not scored in the first four innings. We are 2 for 3.

There were more strange decisions made in this game than I can even remember. Most worked out well for the manager that made them or the game wouldn't have gone on for 18 innings but they were some head scratchers to me at the time.

I forgot to say thanks to the Brewers for sweeping the Pirates and keeping the Birds 4 1/2 games up.

The Mets left 25 runners on base in this game and still won. How many did the Cards strand? 2 games for the price of one today but only one loss.

Had to be about 20, we were close behind in the 16th I know. We didn't strand any in the 18th though, just went without a whimper.
