Yeah, I hate it's the end, but my team hasn't played a meaningful game since week 4 and wont for 3 more weeks so I'm ready for some competition as i am sure they are as well. I know there are other teams in the same boat too.College Heights travels to Northwest High School (Hughesville/Houstonia) on Saturday for a matinee match-up against the Coyotes of Paris High School. For a "neutral field" contest, Paris won the battle of geography.
Updates are dependent on the cell coverage around northern Pettis county. If the the beans and corn surrounding the high school have been picked, then I predict unobstructed cell service, thus meaningful and timely updates from the premier division of MSHSAA football: 8 Man.
Safe travels to all, both Friday night and Saturday. Can't believe this is the final, regular season game!
Amen to that. For me, high school football season is like a comet. You wait and wait and wait for it to get here and then it seems only a flash and poof it is gone. I never turn on a pro game and college is not the same since transfer portals and NIL. I watch a little high school b-ball and always love spring track and field. Then, it is back to the waiting game. Occasionally drop by the weight and conditioning sessions just to see which lads are really working and which are "present" and loafing. Amazing how often that translates to their performance on the field the following season.
I was there back on Oct 6th. Nice setup over there.I'll be at my standard post. Sidelines at Hickman writing down stats. Hickman hosts Belleville West, IL looking for its first win on Homecoming night for the Kewpies.
Kewpies get the win going into districts. But I won't post...
I think Seneca wins easy! Good luck!I’ll be at Nevada hoping Seneca stays undefeated!!
