I have not been to the Mizzou stadium for a few years, probably since Pinkel was still the boss.

Recommendation on where to sit as a neutral party. (Ok I will be biased for public and SwMo but otherwise neutral)

So, should we sit on the East or West side?
North or South end of East/West side?

How is the food?
Good/Average/Bad?
Expensive or Not too bad?

Thank you in advance.

The food seems fine. Getting to the front of the line so that one of the 2 people working can get you something is the tough part.

I would recommend setting on the Northern end of either the East or West side depending on your preference. The further you get from the 50 heading in the Southern end of the stadium, those sections are reserved for the bands and then the final few are closed off I believe. Sitting on the Northern end puts you closer to the entrance/exit, the restrooms, and concessions.

The food quality is fair. The prices are the same as they are for Mizzou games so it isn't exactly cheap. They usually have the Dickey's BBQ stand open and that offers a little different variety. Also, MSHSAA contracts with some outside (non-Levy) group who has a food truck set up on the concourse in the North end. Sadly I don't think that the Lion's Choice truck which is present at Mizzou games will be there for the Show Me Bowl.

I didn't make it to the Class 6 game this past weekend, but I attended pretty much all of the Show Me Bowl games at Faurot from 2017-2019 and I plan on being there tonight for the 8 Man game so I will report back if I see any significant differences from past years.

Don't plan on buying food. Lines were up to an hour wait last Saturday. There was only one stand open on each side of the stadium. You can take in anything you want. They don't check bags. Anywhere you sit is good. The end zones are closed and the top hlalf of the stadium was closed last week. Very few people were sitting on the south side of the 30 yard lines. The bands don't play during the game. You also can sit high enought up that the studend section isn't in the way.

That is GOOD TO KNOW.
Now I wish the wife were going, she could carry her suitcase that she calls a bag and we could take in all sorts of food.

Lines - I have lived in Phoenix, Bridgeport Mass, Houston, Seattle but most of my 50+ years are in SW Mo. you know where there are 2 traffic lights in one town and none in the next. I refuse to stand in line for food/drink for over 5 minutes.

They were definitely checking some bags last weekend.
