That’s the way it has worked for most of our history. Nothing in your constitution forces the parties to even have a democratic election to pick their candidates. Are you new here?

How so? No one was saying this was true in January at the SOTU. I hope you are taking some time for your own peace of mind.
Some were but none of them were saying it when they met with him. Neither McCarthy or Johnson were saying anything when they had meetings with him.
