Looks like Gollum crept back into.....well, wherever he comes from in the first place.

Well his profile says Onondaga Cave. Which makes no sense because that is a state park in east-central Missouri. Gollum lived in a cave in the Misty Mountains, which was part of an undergound lake, that lied below the stronghold of the Great Goblin. WAY before that, Gollum was actually name Smeagol, who was apart of the Stoorish hobbits. Thats right, Gollum was once a hobbit. He is only called Gollum, because of the swallowing sound that comes from his throat. So the answer to your question is a rather lengthy one!
