So cool, hope they can eventually make this affordable, seems like the NFL should use some of its money towards the funding of this and pushing out to the youth levels through high school. Could save the game....

Helmets need to be made heavier and thicker. Have you guys ever seen a demolition derby?

They have to be able to wear them! There are so many materials out there heavier probably isn't the answer, usually lighter is. The NFL should have zero problem paying that kind of money for helmets but would need to be 90% or more cheaper for high school maybe even college to afford. It's hard enough for high school teams to afford uniforms shoulder pads and helmets now, can you imagine 1500 dollar helmets?
