Trying to look at possible district matchups. East Buchanan in Class 2, District 16 is showing "FL 0-1" on their game vs Mid Buchanan. I'm assuming this means forfeit loss? Can anyone provide any more info on this game? Looks like it could be/ could have been a head to head game that will affect district seedings.

Played a kid 7 quarters in the same night. Saw it mentioned on Twitter if true. I think East Buch won the game, but shows as a forfeit. Happened to a few other schools this year as well.
Makes sense. Thank you. Is this a common occurrence? Is the rule more enforced than it used to be or something?

There’s apparently either a lot of purposeful cheating going on, or a bunch of people involved in education who can’t count to six.

Not sure which is worse.

Two of these occurred on the same night and I believe both were self-reported, which I think sends a good message to the youth. If you mess up, then fess up.

That happened to us the other night. Only have 5 true varsity kids. One got hurt before game so had to start a JV kid. He picked up 2 fouls so subbed another jv kid. Brought first kid back in second quarter immediately picked up 3rd. Etc etc. Ended up playing one JV kid in all 4 quarters by mistake.

Won the game. Immediately after the other team asked for forfeit. So it goes as forfeit. 2-0
