I am pretty sure the fact that multiple firefighters have been shot while responding to fires is pretty well documented
What does it matter?
First, there are not any confirmed cases of being shot off of ladders.
Second, is the number of firefighters shot comparable to the number of teachers shot?
We don't worry about the teachers, why concern ourselves with the firefighters?
And you all know I don't mean that, just pointing out the fake concern that comes from them.

They, for sure, were not our best and brightest. We, as a whole, seem not to be all that interested in elected our best and brightest to very many positions in government very often. We do love to elect people who are good at manipulating people's emotions, and you don't have to be very intelligent to do that.
