Final Four

Wouldn't you make a lot more money, if you streamed everything from the weekend to everyone and sold ads based on all the eyes that would be on your event???????????????
Remember, MSHSAA is made up of the olds. They don’t exactly have a stranglehold on what is or isn’t a solid marketing plan in 2021.

Sorry if already stated but is it $9 per game and they are making everyone leave in between?

This system $uck$.....!
Our team is playing Friday in KansCity again and limited capacity due to Covid restrictions.
So when the tickets went on sale we get the message that NO tickets are available as they were all pre-sold...(sounds suspicious)... So does it makes good sense to play the game with very limited spectators when our gym is available with code-GREEN and 2500 seats..
For many years a group of old geezers from various parts of the show-me state have attended the final-four and took in as many games as possible. Some of them don't do internet and were very upset when i
told them about this years tickets regulations.
It seems MSHSAA is going out of their way to piss as many people off as possible...!X!X!
C =(~

It's kinda what they do DF...unfortunately. Trying to follow their line of thinking in making a decision would be about like following the Plinko chip down the board on the Price Is Right.

I agree that this situation is not great. The reason it was a pre-sale is because the parents get first dibs on tickets and then it opens to the public. It is unfortunate that some venues/counties have restrictions but I would absolutely not give up home court advantage in a playoff game to go to a bigger gym just to fit more people in. Ultimately it falls on MSHSAA. I would think neutral high school gyms would host but MSHSAA said that a participating team can host. This on top of the streaming situation, people are losing out on some great memories and chances to support their team.

I found out yesterday that to stream this year we will have to purchase each game at the Final Four separately instead of watching all of the games for one fee like last year. It's all about the money now. For the first time in 29 years, I may not be watching any final four games. MSHSAA no longer wants avid basketball fans to support high school athletics. They only want the fans from the participating schools. I think that's unfortunate.

My other complaint is that any time someone questions a rule about contact days, etc, the MSHSAA response is that they don't make rules. They say all decisions are voted on by the member schools. Did the schools vote to start charging people for all post-season games that are streamed? I would be surprised if that is the case.
It is $15 for all Final Four games. Not pay per view.

Our AD/School posted there is a one time fee for the weekend to stream the Final Four, like years past

Yes, I got online to see and that's what it says. If thankful for that. I got an email from Blueframe earlier this week in response to my questions and they said each game would have to be purchased separately. Oh well, I'm glad they are all lumped together like they should be.

If I get tickets to successive games, do I have to leave and go to the back of the line or can I just walk out and walk right back in?
