Hartville beats Mid-Buchanon

Lutheran North beats Licking
Strafford beats Trenton

It was at Lutheran and it was very obvious who the “home” team was. 3 strafford starters fouled out. Strafford freshman owned the game for the last 5 minutes of the game. No one will foul out this time.

Went seven for nine and got all the champs, not too bad. What does graduation look like for all these teams? Obviously Strafford is graduating a lot, but I don't expect them to be bad, just mortal. Thayer and Hartville are both graduating some great players.

Does that still make anybody think they could beat ANY team in ANY class in Missouri?

Yes, they could beat ANY team in ANY class. One bad half doesnt change what they can do. The refs allowed a lot of physical play and many no calls. Frank struggled in first half. Straffords only real mistake was continuing to go to her instead of changing the plan a little. Most likely because they seemed intent on getting her to 3000 pts. Strafford still made some great plays and LN got scoring from unlikely players hitting shots they notmally dont. Smiling through Lutherans attempt at trash talk and intimidation, Strafford showed they can deal with pressure and won. 115 in a row and the only team to go 33-0...... again. Seniors graduate with record of 129-3. Two of those losses were to eventual state champs that year.

No doubt they could. They could lose to a couple teams too, but I'm still betting on Strafford in those games.

That may be true but that is known when the prediction that Strafford would beat them is made. I haven't seen Strafford play and I haven't seen IWA play in 3 or 4 years. I do know a guy from St.Louis that knows basketball that told me people that haven't played IWA have no idea how good they are defensively.

I had heard the same thing said about Straffords defense this year.
