The California Lady Pintos fell to the Eldon Lady Mustangs, 104-87, in a Tri-County Conference matchup.
Eldon led 33-20 after the first quarter and 61-44 at the half. The Lady Mustangs led 76-57 after three quarters. In the 4th, California cut the Eldon lead to 8 on several occasions, but never got closer.
For California, Elizabeth Lutz led with 35 points, while Kelsey Roush added 14 points.
For Eldon, Sarah Rhine had 51 points (a new school record) and Taylor Pehle added 25 points.
California falls to 11-9 and 2-2 in Tri-County action. Eldon improves to 16-4 and 3-0 in conference.
The combined 191 points is the 6th highest in Missouri girls basketball history.
