Eldo nearly choked that one away. 85% free throw shooter missed both at the end that would have iced it and Strafford gets the cleanest look ever from 3. I thought it was in, but just a bit long.

When you get on a winning streak like Stratford it’s free advertising. You don’t have to recruit. Good players just show up.
I dont think any of these schools recruit and at this point, if they do, who cares. If a family is willing to move, let them. My favorite is the buzz is that Delta recruits. Who in their right mind would move to Delta... Strafford I get wanting to get out of Springvegas, it's kind of like Mid-Buch and people wanting to escape the south side of St. Joe, but Delta... that's like moving to Rich Hill or Osceola, but worse.

You have got to be joking if you think recruiting does not exist. I have seen it first hand. So lets stop kidding ourselves when they say recruiting does not exist. That aside congrats to Eldo. That is a great team who dedicated themselves to getting to state after a heartbreaking loss in quarters last year. So good luck today to them.
Also no Benton Girls Basketball player has escaped to Mid Buch, completely false. Saint Joseph has open enrollment and if anything kids from the all over Saint Joe come to Benton to play girls basketball. Nobody leaves the southside to play play girls basketball and defiantly not to mid Buchanan.
The senior on Leblond's team this year that transferred from Benton begs to say otherwise.
She was not a southside kid. She was at another feeder schools middle school and came to Benton and was not a southside kid. If anyone thinks they want to school me on that situation don't bother. I know more about that situation than anyone on here. The original post said kids escaping the southside to Mid Buch, that does not happen.

Those post season all whatever teams are so political. Coaches either talk their players up or they don’t. They provide the correct stats or they don’t. I don’t think either applies to Humble not making it but I’m sure there were coaches that didn’t vote for her out of spite. One of them is obvious. She deserved better, she led Strafford in scoring and tied for the team lead in rebounding and she’s a good kid
She obviously deserved to be on the all district team. Funny how all four of the other Strafford starters made it which is kinda rare. The fix was in for Strafford to lose by 3 of the coaches and everyone knows it. Strafford was clearly deserving of the one seed but they would not let it happen. Part of success. The Spokane player put on the all district team?? Please! Plenty of shady stuff that went on in that district.
Anything else you care to cry over? Bottom line strafford just cldnt get it done when the big game was on . You act like you know but you dont know crap so its time you get over the lose suck it up and be a big boy

For all the “strafford ref” idiots- the foul count in second half was 14-5 in favor of Eldo. No one complained about it or used it as an excuse. No need to. Final 4 is a great season. You need a hobby besides brown nosing certain coaches. Now, you can explain to me why skyline was the first seed……. I’ll wait.

The class 1 state champ beat the class 2 state champ by 20.
Maybe they all should be glad they didn't have to go through the class 1 bracket.
Strafford beat the Class 5 state champs in the Pink and White, so with a little "this team beat that team who beat this team..." exercise, we can determine that Class 1 was the toughest of all.
