This isn’t officially confirmed but it’s what I heard from some people up there who weren’t at the game.

I would say East Atchison becomes the #1 team in 8-man at 6-0 after that win.

I’m not counting them out, but in my mind, their only credible win was a 6-point win against a North Andrew team who is just above average in my opinion. But then again, it’s just my opinion.

Agreed. Stanberry is wayyy down. North Andrew is middle of the pack. Worth County and Mound City are down, but barely lol. Pattonsburg came out of nowhere. And East Atchison was a top 5 team going into the season imo but didn’t see them being this good after losing McAdams to graduation.

We’ll probably be looking at an East Atchison/Mound City rematch come districts to decide who takes that playoff spot.

Pattonsburg did not come out of nowhere. They were final four last year and picked by many to win the championship this year.

Yes there are four districts, but only one team can win it. No matter how they got there, they were still one of the last four. Their QB broke the record for the most TDs last year and they have an explosive offense. They may have come out of nowhere last year, but not this year. Anyone who follows 8-man football would completely disagree with that statement.

I don't have a problem with using this board for discussion, but I did not resort to name calling. Apparently you can't handle the fact that you are wrong about this, so you have to start with insults. Real mature.
