Albany has been an 8-Man team for the last two years and McAuley Catholic switched to 8-Man last year. I believe Appleton City played a few 8-Man games last year and were considering the switch for 2016. Don't know if they did or not.

Also, and I know this is just a quick unofficial rundown of the teams, but someone like Drexel, for example, has a co-op with Miami. So, while their combined enrollment number will still be well under the Class 1 break, it is higher than 102. Something to consider would be checking if there are teams near the enrollment breaks that have a co-op, which could affect your list.

Classes 1-5 are heavily impacted by schools dropping /adding football. Class 6 is just the top 32 teams so easiest to predict. It looks like Park Hill and McCleur North are replacing Timberland and Francis Howell North...assuming Timberland is not a coop. I don't have any specific info it just seems like off the top of my head that they were co-opting with someone before.

Albany has been an 8-Man team for the last two years and McAuley Catholic switched to 8-Man last year. I believe Appleton City played a few 8-Man games last year and were considering the switch for 2016. Don't know if they did or not.

Also, and I know this is just a quick unofficial rundown of the teams, but someone like Drexel, for example, has a co-op with Miami. So, while their combined enrollment number will still be well under the Class 1 break, it is higher than 102. Something to consider would be checking if there are teams near the enrollment breaks that have a co-op, which could affect your list.

Salisbury is class one.

That means a whole lot of teams with a bye week come district time.

It seems to me if things keep contracting in about 4 years it might make more sense just to go back to 5 classes.

I really like going to 7 classifications. Currently the break down from smallest school in a class to the biggest is as follows
Class 1 135 Students
Class 2 176 Students
Class 3 285 Students
Class 4 582 Students
Class 5 464 Students
Class 6 1024 Students

If we move to 7 classes the differences are as follows
Class 1 107 Students
Class 2 130 Students
Class 3 124 Students
Class 4 235 Students
Class 5 429 Students
Class 6 464 Students
Class 7 1176 Students

Using list from above (I know will change) will look like so 48 per class.

2 South Shelby - Cardinal Ritter
3 Eldorado Springs - Winfield High
4 Mt. Vernon - Monnett

7 Waynesville - SLU (45 Schools)

Looks a little more equitable per class, especially at the lower levels where it has the most impact.
