Dumbest ESPN Story I've read....

ESPN posted a story today about whether or not the NFL playoff system is broken and how to "fix" it. I have heard exactly zero chatter about people being upset about the current format. So, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. In said story, the author provided six "solutions", 5 of which the author didn't think were going to happen and the sixth is a big "if". So why the heck did they write the story then? Soooo stupid.

Gotcha, yeah this is the 5th year of the 14 team playoff with only 1 bye. They'll never go back to 12 because of the extra money they get from the additional games.

4 NFC divisions and 4 AFC divisions with only division winners in the playoffs. Send the losers home after regular season and let them watch on TV

The only thing I can see happening is making it a sixteen team tournament so the NFL can make $$$ on two more games.

I would like to see is all professional sports do away with conferences and resort teams regionally. The only thing is division champs get automatic bids not seeds.
