Steyer on Saturday, Buttigieg on Sunday and now Klobuchar.
4 are left, Biden, Bernie, Bloomberg, and Warren.
Who comes out on top tomorrow night?
It should be an interesting next 24 hours.

I agree 100%. I am really surprised that 2 of the 3 didn't at least stay in until Tuesday night.

The DNC has to ensure Biden gets the nomination. No better way than culling the herd and getting them to stand behind Joe. They scratch the DNC's back now and they get set up for something later.

Whatever it takes to stop Bernie.

We were just having this conversation at lunch and a few think that the Democratic party had something to do with these all dropping out. Buttigieg was not hurting for Money, he could have stayed in. Steyer really should have never gotten in. Amy just was not making much noise.

Yeah I mean Steyer's a billionaire, he wasn't hurting for funds. Mayor Pete really wasn't gaining any traction and neither was Klobuchar. DNC pulled the plug.

The way Biden rushed to Pete and Klobuchar side, I have to think that something big was promised. Klobuchar has already endorsed him and the news said Pete and Biden have exchanged emails. That is why I cannot stand the Dems, it is not the party of the people. It is the party of big Business.

Obama picked up the phone and called them both. That is my theory anyway..

Probably too late because I think Bernie is going to win pretty big tomorrow and in the states he doesn’t win he will be a close 2nd.

Amy and Pete are going to be on the stage with Joe tonight. No doubt the party or like RHCF says Obama called and told them. I wonder if Pete doesn't end up Joe's VP. He will need someone young. I keep hearing KH, but not sure that would fly after she attacked him as she did.

You might call it collusion...

Doesn't matter. Dems gotta push diversity. Old white east coast man and youngish black west coast woman would play well (or at least alright) to the "woke" crowd.

The DNC forced Pete and Amy out because they want Biden to be the nominee. Why do you think Warren hasn’t dropped out yet? The DNC knows she is the only candidate that takes votes away from Bernie.

If you guys don't think these conversations take place EVERY primary season you know NOTHING!! I've been telling you for a long time the dem party in general is NOT far left and they don't want some wacko left wing dude, or woman, to run against Trump.

Well the candidate that the “not that far left” party is offering up had a nice little last two weeks:

- Said he’s looking forward to Super Thursday instead of Super Tuesday
- Complained about Trump’s handling of the coronavirus. Guess he forgot that in 2009, him and Obama waited 6 months, after 20,000 contracted the virus and 1,000 died, to declare the swine flu as a national emergency
- Said he worked on Paris Climate Accord in 2016 with leader of China who actually died in 1997
- Said he’s running for Senate
- Endorsed a senate candidate for President
- Forgot he was on Chris Wallace’s show
- Said he will appoint the first black woman to senate

The left is REALLY far left. I hate to break it to you.

I feel sorry for Joe.
Obama doesn't need to fully endorse Joe, but come out and say he likes Joe or Joe is a good guy.
With that Obama could ensure Bernie doesn't win.
Joe has won one primary in 3 career presidential runs?

Joe and Bernie come out.
Booty stuck as mayor unless he were to land a cabinet gig or he carpet bags to a blue state.

Obama knows Bernie is going to win. His endorsement won’t help Joe and he knows that. The “Bernie Bro’s” won’t flip because Obama endorses Joe. It’s a cult there.

A great example showing how far left the Dems party has actually gone.

His endorsement could make the delegate count closer. The puralistic vote would be more realistic. Too late now.
The early voting makes this primary more disjointed now too.
All of the scenarios for Dem. convention are on the table.

LOL, I don't think the Dems who support Bernie are any more a cult than the republicans that follow Trump.
The thing is Bernie offers a different vision or direction on the Democratic party then say a traditional Dem. Not that the vision is for everybody or even the right course.
But many forget how radical in 2016 Trump's view of what the Republican party should be going into the 2016 election versus the other candidates was.
Bernie and Trump in 2016 however at times sounded almost the same on many major issues. I remember that many Pubs and Dem tried to tie the two together, so they both would have a mainstream candidate during the election.
Below I have linked some interesting articles from 2016 that linked the two together. Also many Pubs forgot Trumps original stance on health care. He did on the campaign trail in 2016 mention that his belief was that the government should guarantee health care, while he never went into it But Cruz tried to tie him to universal care and he never did back down. I do believe that did earn him some votes however. We will see if that can carry into 2020.

These moves might be too late. Remember in a lot of the contests today there has been early voting. Bernie left Nevada to go straight to Texas where there was early voting.

It is highly likely that they can keep Bernie form getting a majority but if he gets a plurality north of 40% and Biden is around 25%-30% of the delegates then good luck with preventing it from going to Bernie.

Vegas oddsmakers have Biden winning. That doesn't mean Bernie won't be there till the bitter end.

It is pretty close but I’m guessing those odds are including a brokered convention. I don’t see Biden actually having more delegates.
He's within 8 now.
I bet he is within 30 after tonight? Just a guess. He just needs to keep it close. Unless Obama says something good. Then he could make it really tight.

If Biden is within 30 then sure he has a shot. I fully expect Bernie to clean up in CA and Vermont of course and either win or be a close 2nd in the rest. A lot of votes were cast last week before some of the other candidates pulled out.

How many Steyer/Klobuchar/Buttigieg voters does Biden get or do they stay home? How many go to any of the other 4?
If they all went to Biden, I would think he wins a lot more, most of the polling still had all of three of those candidates as options.

Some already voted early for their candidates before they dropped out.

Yes, but how many do you really think that is?
After I typed that I decided to see if I could find something. There are a lot of ballots already cast! I was shocked to read that.

Texas is reporting that 1,000,231 people voted early or mailed in ballots for the Democratic Primary by the end of early voting period which was Feb 28.

And California is reporting that as many as 4 in 10 people have voted in their early voting period.

It seems pretty obvious the DNC is stacking everything they can against Bernie. My question is, are they trying to get Biden or trying to get a brokered convention where they can cut both Bernie and Biden (since neither will win) and slip in someone else?

To claim the Democratic party hasn't went far left is either wishful thinking, you are lying to yourself or you are being disingenuous. The democratic party has moved very far left. The Party has been infiltrated for years now by wolfs in sheep's clothing and of late many are not even faking it. Sure some of the Old guard who still wield a lot of power are not on board with Giving up Private property rights etc. but even they lean farther left.

The democratic party isn't against Bernie or his policies...they just know he is to far left and to honest about it for moderates and independents to vote for him. If they believed moderates and independents where on board they would be full on elected Bernie.

I'm sure you and others on here think the pubs haven't gone off the rails to the right. And they've done it with faux republican as president. Trump is only about the party of/for TRUMP!!
