In a given year the Big 10 isn't top heavy. B1G East is the toughest division in college football, and likely will be for years to come. Indiana is an 8 or 9 win team in the West.

Since 1970 the b1g can boast one team with an undisputed NC...buckeye.
Since 1997 the SEC WEST can boast 6 National titles by 3 different teams(7 if you got back to 2003..don't even try 1970..It's 19)

Yup down year for FSU. Bound to happen since they are not on Bamas level. Yet they would have still won the SEC East. FSU beat Florida despite having a solid option at QB as well. If you can't see that the SEC East was not very good, there is no point in continuing this conversation.
