Does anyone know if he has been injured or, for whatever reason, is no longer participating in track? I was looking through the Ozark Conference track results and the events he usually participates in and wins, his name was not there. I understand his brother is ill and maybe he had to step out of track this spring. Any info. would be appreciated.

The 10:00 news showed him at the meet..but you are right he did not participate.

Have to assume he is injured. Can't imagine any other reason why he would not compete if he was there????

Hillcrest High School junior Dorial Green-Beckham will not defend his state championship in the 100 meters because of a leg injury which has hampered him throughout the spring.

Green-Beckham did not participate in the Class 3, District 6 meet at Carl Junction, in which top-four finishers advanced to next weekend’s sectionals.

Last year, Green-Beckham won the 100 and the triple jump and also took second in the long jump in Class 4.

Green-Beckham was named the No. 1 Class of 2012 football recruit in the country by Rivals.com on Monday.
