So many rumors coming out of Dora. Haney has been transferring to Kickapoo Nixa West Plains and I even heard hartville once. The triplets were supposedly going to grove or strafford or wherever with their dad who was to coach baseball or to become an admin or something like that. All not true...
Honestly...I dont even know where Dora is and have no idea what's going on there.
To find out where Dora is going, just get the map.Honestly...I dont even know where Dora is and have no idea what's going on there.
Do you honestly believe those are comparable situations?I wonder how people feel about last years hand slap penalties MSHAA gave Dora after seeing the self imposed sanctions by Cardinal Ritter football this year.
Even if you knew where it was, you probably could not find your way to it then.Honestly...I dont even know where Dora is and have no idea what's going on there.
Hey now, they were all eligible at least.I wonder how people feel about last years hand slap penalties MSHAA gave Dora after seeing the self imposed sanctions by Cardinal Ritter football this year.
Sort of. Both involved using a player illegally.
Do you honestly believe those are comparable situations?
Or at least should be embarrassed.the similarity is that they both got caught by the public and media doing something they knew was wrong.
You can debate the severity of the infraction among yourselves.
Nonetheless embarrassing for their schools and communities.
Yeah, that's the HUGE difference in the scenario IMHO.Hey now, they were all eligible at least.
If you know what you're looking for in a basketball game, you'll see this more than you think you might. Heck, in a close game, watch after a foul call. Team shooting FTs calls TO. If an official doesn't ID the shooter, you'll often see a team try to send their best shooter to the line. Or at least not their worst. It happens way more than you think in a basketball game. I'm not okaying it by any stretch. But it's a far cry from dressing an ineligible player in another player's uniform and playing him in a game you (the coach and AD) knew he wasn't eligible to play in.the similarity is that they both got caught by the public and media doing something they knew was wrong.

Cheating is cheating in my book. There may be varying degrees of cheating, but all are cheating and wrong. If you know what you're looking for in a basketball game, you'll see this more than you think you might. Heck when I was in HS, late in the game, a foul would be called and I would be the first down there to shoot the FT several times unless the ref would say your not the shooter! Coach never told me to do it.If you know what you're looking for in a basketball game, you'll see this more than you think you might. Heck, in a close game, watch after a foul call. I'm telling you, it's a thing. I can't tell you how many times in my years as an assistant I had to point out to an official the wrong shooter was heading to the line. Just one of the things I learned to look for.Know a guy that played with Ben Hansborough. Said Ben would steal about 10 points a tournament in AAU doing this. Lol.
I'm not saying it's right. It's not. I'm saying it's not nearly the offense as playing an ineligible player that you knew was ineligible and tried to conceal his identity. It's like a speeding ticket vs. vehicular manslaughter. Sure, both are illegal. But one we can certainly agree is a tad bit more serious than the other.Cheating is cheating in my book.
