If we had single payer healthcare, workmens comp wouldn't even be needed. The only thing that would need addressed is compensation for permanent injuries to workers

That's true for health care, yes.

Look at how health insurance works with auto wrecks as well - it can be a nightmare to navigate without a lawyer.

When I see stuff like this it makes me glad I'm old and retired. The UPRR sent me home early rather than give me a job I could do with the restrictions I was given for my last few years.
