On his 85th birthday, the formerly hated Shula is now my hero.

Thank you!
That is a cheap way to boost your post count, you have hereby been disqualified. Now stop it.
While the "Thank you!" message was a simple boost, the first message wasn't. And there were no rules set in this challenge, so a post is a post. I would say only, NM posts do not count.

That loss to the Patriots changed everything for the Ram's organization.

I doubt they would have to be fighting to stay in the STL if they win.

Newsflash you aren't making the rules. I am, and the challenge ended yesterday. Oh by the way. NM

Bah!!!! This isn't over...

It changed a lot of lives
Without filming the Rams situational
walk thru, I don't think the Pats D would have been
yelling out the Rams plays before they were even called.
Warner and Faulk are still furious about it.

That was a disheartening loss and caused strain in relationships
between Martz and others. Who knows what might have happened
with the Pats or Rams if that hadn't occurred.

One thing that super bowl did was bring about the
no contact five yards down the field rule due to
the Pats mauling Faulk and others.

What lost the Rams that game was two things. One was overconfidence, they read
the pregame point spread. Two was a young first year quarterback named Tom
Brady. Shula lost a Super Bowl back in the day for the same two reasons to the Jets. That Qb was Joe Namath. A pregame walk through can be watched by alot
of people or nobody. As far as calling out Ram plays from a play book with dozens of plays, the Pats must have been clairvoyant. No trick play is put on display until it is
used and any NFL game film will show you most of a teams plays. Most of the walk
thoughs that I have been part of was the coaches hoping the players can remember what team they are on. On the other hand I could have been wrong all those years.
