1 Lockwood 3-0 45.5
2 Midway 3-0 43
3 Adrian 1-2 32.33
4 Drexel 2-1 30.33
5 Liberal 1-2 28.5

2 Weeks ago we saw Adrian take apart Drexel in second half, and last week Midway shut out Adrian and thats your 3rd and 4th place teams.

Archie is improved, have lost all 3 games, but have been in all 3 till the very end. Will see if the can compete with Lockwood friday night

I thought I read on here that Lockwood played a JV game last friday and they would not get points but as of now they are still #1 place

How bout Liberal ??

So are we going to see a Lockwood / Midway championship game in district 3?? thoughts??
 
I see an Archie vs Lockwood for district championship. Archie will be much improved the 2nd time around and it is hard to beat a team twice

I'll go ahead and say whoever wins the District loses the next week... Lockwood played a team who is starting their program.. Mshsaa says they cant go to the playoffs and all games are called Jv for the first few years.. The team played all their team tho not just jv. As far as points goes I don't have a clue.
 
Skinslvr26 yes, probably as this district has lost in that game a lot here in recent past. But i didn't ask about the game after districts or anything about valle, so no one else needs to post that either lmao

But seriously, I will take a district championship right now!! Midway has had that title last 5 out of 6 years i think

O line wins games that just seems funny to me, but no big deal

Now listen here woman lol :) Don't you go getting all lippy with me lol... My Point was the District sucks and if split with another district in the Playoffs we'd Prob lose 5-6 teams bc its so weak.. Oh and Valle or Marceline will win it... Class 1 = Yawn for 15 weeks... Next

C'mon don't be like that Skinslvr26, so your saying since we have a weak district or as you put it "the District sucks" we shouldn't even play out the season since we won't go past a district championship game (vs Lincoln is my guess) or that valle or marceline is going to win it all, cause it boring "Yawn"

Don't be a Debbie downer, It's still small town Friday Night Lights! I myself won 4 games in 4 years back when I played and love every second of it, sure I wish we won more games, but its better than running cross country or soccer right lol So a conference or district title would be huge for me, but i guess that small time thinking but i take it

So to me I see it as the glass half full, you must see it bone dry lol

Yeah its been a tough few weeks here in Jasper and im About to pull my hair out... I thought we'd be ok this yr and drop off bad next year.. But the drop off happened a yr earlier than I thought it would.. Its been hard watching a team lose 3 games back to back when you've only lost 5 games in 3 yrs... We've already lost a senior RB a Senior LB a starting OL man for the yr which is already a really weak OL... Just hard to get up for something when you already know your teams end result on a Friday night... Oh and I understand Losing in High school when I was in school we were still in the WEMO lol Lord I hated that lol.. And I was just playing about the whole lippy part :)

If you are all saying 0-3 Archie is the team to watch, the district must be WIDE open. As far as who's left....no one has been eliminated until week 10.

This literally might be the ONLY year in recent memory that an SRVC team has a shot in this district. Midway and Adrian are down that far.

I woulda taken Lockwood over Midway last year... I know they were in a different district but they would of beaten Midway Imo.

Midway wasn't as good last year imo... And just bc 1 team beat one another doesn't mean another couldn't.. Imo they would of beat them in a close game.. Keep using Jaspers lose to make your point... At any time any team can lose and just bc Jasper almost beat Lockwood doesn't mean they couldn't beat Drexel or Midway.

SRVC Logic - "Because Jasper loses by 8 in Dbl OT to Lockwood and since Jasper only lost 50-8 to WEMO Drexel who only lost 40-0 to WEMO Midway hence WEMO was down and Lockwood was the better team."

Lockwood is lucky it's gonna be sloppy tonight because on a dry field Archie would give them fits.

No chance the SRVC wins Disrict 3. Only three teams that will be trending upward when Districts get here are Archie, Midway & Drexel. Sorry Veer you got your anamoly win for the year, we'll rebound and get our legs when the weather turns cool.

No wemo team.will beat lockwood. Drexel struggled to beat archie and appleton then got killed by a below average adrian. Ive heard midway and adrian cant throw the ball

Like I said wet field played to Lockwood's strength and slowed down the Whirlwinds. Pretty close to another pie in the face for SRVC.

Looks like the WEMO gets decided this Friday, just as everyone knew it would, it comes down to Drexel & Midway.

AC, Adrian, Archie & Osceola weren't strong enough up front to slow them down. That won't be the case this week. Word is Midway is throwing about 3 INTs a week when defenses sell out to stop the run and they get stuffed up front. Heck they may end up throwing 6 this week once they actually play a team capable of moving them backwards.

Prediction 36-8 Bobcats win(I'll concede a Special Teams score).
 
Id like to see lockwood or any other local srvc team make a nice run but this reminds me alot of the strafford talk 2-3 years ago. Look good against sub par opponets then get exposed against someone with a pulse

Yes they beat us 20-0 last year for District title, but I don't believe 3 times in 26 years is correct.

If calling out the SRVC for their unwarranted boastfulness makes me a troll, then call me Shrek.
