Different is not the same thing as better

I'm not arguing with your response, but what did he exactly disclose?
If it was that incriminating, let him face the consequences. Thing is: media declares it's so top secret, no one can know what he said. So...we have really no idea, do we?
There were 5 people in the room. Who leaked it and what, exactly, was disclosed? I'm not defending Trump, per se , just aggravated with it all.
Alas, I guess we, the sheople, will just have to be in the dark and succumb to the ever present media cloud of perception. In other news, the DNC hotshot who was murdered for no apparent reason was discovered to have big time links to wikileaks. Of course that's on the "down low" and not being covered much.
That's my point, compadre: you don't know and I don't know. We're all bottom feeders being fed an agenda from whoever has the microphone....
Peace.
Trump himself admitted he gave them highly classified information but it's ok because he can. What more do you need to know? We may never know exactly what it was, hence the highly classified moniker put on it.

Something HIGHLY CLASSIFIED! What the hell were those two doing in the oval office to start with their 'photographer' turned out to be a TASS news guy. I guess it's ok to give out classified info with a guy from Russia's government run news agency in the room.

Who said it was HIGHLY CLASSIFIED ?

McMasters said it was "wholly appropriate ".

Are you going to start second guessing who the president can have in the WH?

Do you want to go there?

Trump's tweet said he did what they said he did and that is is legal for him to do so. He said he gave it to them because he wants Russia to help against ISIS. NOTHING Trump has said since the this story broke denies what that he did what they said he did. I guess next you'll say maybe it wasn't Trump sending out the Tweets.

The media didn't declare it top secret. The US government did and specifically told them NOT to report it. The media isn't saying trust us because it wants to. It is doing so because that is in the interest of the American people.

Further, the White House has basically confirmed the core items of the reporting, regardless of what details are held back. How bad, exactly, we don't know, but the core allegation isn't really in dispute after what Trump and McMaster said.

There is a group in DC that has security clearances and the ability to question what actually happened...perhaps they could do their job and review it. This is the sort of thing Congress should want to understand.

Did you read the reports? Did you watch the McMaster press conference?

McMaster's comments effectively confirmed the reporting

Shouldn't people be second guessing Trump meeting the Russian foreign minister if he can't control himself? Further, why is Trump doing Putin a solid by meeting the FM in the Oval at Putin's request when he just hacked the election? Normally FMs meet the Secretary of State.

UH, because he didn't hack the election. It was a DNC leak. Only a liar that lies can detect a wide interpretation of recent statements made by NSA.
Why didn't Comey bring up this fantastic memo before?

Dang, just hacked the election?

Link?

I am very interested in this. Anything concrete, or just your opinion?

Jesus, man, it's the on the record opinion of the US government and its intelligence agencies. Not mine. Our government has directly concluded that Russia intentionally interfered in our 2016 election.

Government policy should be set in accordance with that. Not with my opinion on the topic.

It's really weird to go do a solid for Putin when he directly interfered in your democracy six months ago. It's difficult to imagine a President Jeb, Cruz, Rubio, or Kasich being this accommodating

Really?

Did they convict Trump of colluding with the Russians? Did we punish Russia for this? Did Putin change my vote? Is proving the DNC cheated, cheating? When the truth is set free, is that interfering with democracy?

Your making excuses for it with these questions are a great example of how damaging this was

American people are actually believing it is ok for an enemy of our country to interfere in our elections. My goodness

The point is not that Trump colluded. It is that Russia acted with incredible malice and Trump has acted with incredible naivete in light of this malice

I'm not making excuses. I'm asking you to back up your statements, which you haven't.

NO one has said they succeeded in changing the outcome of the the election and NO one has said they tried to change any votes at the ballot box, only that they hacked into one of our parties emails and give that to Wikileaks to make public. ALL of our intelligence agencies agreed that this happened. Now the question is did anyone in Trump campaign assist the Russians in any way. Some day maybe we'll know.

The first point is enough to fundamentally affect how our government interacts with their government
