From 1968 to 1997 (When TO left)....

Nebraska NEVER ONCE lost more than 3 games. Impressive.

Since TO left, they have lost 4 or more games, 13 out of 17 seasons...including 11 straight.

Bonus Stat
Conference Titles:
1970 to 1997: 19 conf championships, 5 National Champs
1998 to today? 0 conf championships, 0 National Champs

Also an interesting fact. Toledo beat Arkansas St 37-7 yesterday.

Do we need to visit the past of OU? Like not winning a title with Bowl Game Bob's players? Your biggest win in a decade is over a down bama team in an also-ran bowl.

Funny you boomers piling on. Didn't hear much from you the last two years for some reason.

Maybe someone else can explain to you the irony of complaining about piling on in a thread you started by piling on.

Regardless today I'm doing catch and release so you may carry on.

Excellent reply. Pointing out facts isn't piling on is it? We need a mosports judgement on that.

Were you aware that in Mizzou's history, they have 0 National Titles?

It's not piling on, just pointing out facts.

You also think Bruce Arians isn't a good coach.

Smrt.

Well according to some Mizzou has won a NC. Same as Arky.
Mizzou doesn't recognize theirs however. Sorta like a couple kU* basketball uses.

11 straight seasons with 4 or more losses. Mizzou hasn't done that lately.

Veer?

Nooooooooooooooo

It's ironic coming from 2 of the biggest haters on this board.

OU fans got their panties in a wad last year and couldn't handle it ..namely the one big attention 'craver'.

Nubs? LOLz. You're done. And it is sweet seeing it after listening to your fans all those years. 11 ....straight.....years.

Mizzou was eventually gonna lose a road game. I just hope they get bowl eligible with the roster as decimated as it is. They don't get to play purdue and illannoy.

Yea, they play UConn, Ark State, SEMO, Kentucky and Vandy. Absolutely impressive.

But not nearly as impressive as losing to Kentucky or beating the powerhouse, UConn, 9-6.

I saw it every year teaching HS. Kids like Cards21 from Missouri but roots for Nebraska and the Cubs instead of the home state teams to garner attention from classmates. Desperate to stand out. Then he claims to be a Missouri hall of famer. I guess being a Missouri team is cool when it's a group of 12 year olds, but not the winningest team in NL history or the state university. Insecurity.

Truth hurts doesn't it.
I know you are poorly educated, but you do know the difference between me rooting for Mizzou and also being an Oregon fan and your rooting for Nebraska and against your home state?? And being a "big cubs fan" while mouthing Busch stadium???? Issues, bro. You have them.

....Kentucky is Kentucky. You get that, right?
No, they're much better this year than they have been. Stoops has been bringing in really good players and they're starting to come into their own. I mean, why are you even commenting on Kentucky football? You have admitted you're not even following college football this year.

You think Frog is one of the biggest haters on this board? (Seriously???)

Like I mentioned before. He would watch Pride of the Yankees and root for Lou Gehrig....the disease that is.;)

Let's face it iif Missouri is on ESPN, OU is on Fox and Nebraska on ABC he will skip watching ESPN to watch the other 2 games hoping the other teams lose. If they do he sounds like he is reenacting the restaurant scene from When Harry Met Sally. This time last year he had Ohio St as a national embarrassment.

The other Misssouri fans on here are fans of their team first. I do admit I do get a little entertained when the Jameis Winston derangement syndrome systems emerge from time to time but I fine most of his posts to be like watching that Fanduel commercial for the 200th time.

Actually, Missouri has a few national championships. In 1954, MU won the national championship in baseball. In 2006 and 2007, Ben Askren won national championships in wrestling. Soooooo there are a few.....

If you're going to include individual championships, Mizzou has actually won 6 of them in wrestling. Ben Askren twice, Max Askren, Mark Ellis, J'Den Cox & Drake Houdashelt. I'm sure they have had other individual champs in sports like track, etc. but not sure would want to get into an individual champ count with Nebraska either.

Come on. You know I was referencing football

If we are going to start counting individuals national titles in wrestling Oklahoma and really OSU for that matter are going to jump like crazy... and Iowa?.. oh wow!!! Should Ark start bragging about all the individual track champs they have, in addition to the team titles?

None of this is the point really. OU has laid some eggs in recent years, without a doubt. Nebraska hasn't been as good since the late 90's. Florida St won a NC just 2 years ago and somehow they aren't that good either, I guess. Kansas has been bad for quite a while, no doubt but it isn't like they are know as a football power. I don't like Notre Dame. I almost always pull against them. Still think they are a legit top program.

I don't think wcowherd or some of the other Mizzou fans give that much of a flip about other teams. Sure they might like it when a rival loses but they care about if Missouri wins or loses. One poster, only one is more interested in everyone else losing than his team winning and the first time someone on his list or someone who plays someone on his list only beats SW Bunnuyhugger Tech by 10 points it means the program is done, forever.

When I read Veer trying to dog on one of the top programs it looks to me like Biz Markie trying to question the musical chops of the Rolling Stones.

To be sure, I care much more about how Mizzou does than what other teams do. I do like it when Nebraska, OU, or Kansas lose. I think it's part of the fun of following a sport.

Which is why whether or not I agree with your opinion or not on some things, I respect it.

I used to generally wish for Missouri to win when they were not playing OU, especially against OU's other rivals. I have one old friend that used to dog me so much when OU lost that I gradually started rooting against Missouri in football and basketball just to get my digs at him. It has always been pretty good natured but thanks to one on here now I find myself rooting for the other teams when I would otherwise be ambivalent at worst.

Actually Oklahoma State is WAY ahead of Iowa and Oklahoma in that regard. OSU has had 139 individual wrestling champions, Iowa 81 and Oklahoma somewhere behind that.

OSU also has the most wrestling team championships with 34.

You're wrong. I root for Mizzou first in all things then hope ND, OU, NU and kU* lose.

Because of their fans.

So basically the same things you guys do but you all whine about it after pepclub meetings
