Last year they got blown out by Jasper and beaten by East Newton in OT. So far what a turn around for a down trodden program. Glidewell has them 1-1. They lost by 6 points to a very good Jasper team and then wiped up on class 3 East Newton team 49-0 who only the week before gave Monett all they wanted in the first half before losing 42-0.

You are bragging on them. I picked them against PC this Friday in the SRVC pickem........poor kids are doomed!

Every time I have pick them over the years they.. burn ME!!!! with that said I picked them too. I think Diamond is better talent wise then they have been in some time. EN has to be the worst team in class 2 or 3 this year!

I've never understood why Diamond hasn't done better in the past. They always seem to have some talent and they are a class 2 school (I believe), playing in a class one conference. They seem to have a new coach every year though.

They have had some good athletes over the years, early on the problem was getting them out of the gym.

Pierce City is down their starting tailback, quarterback, kick returner and center....I'll take Diamond for the win.
