Not really a new concept but now they think babies born alive have no rights.
Only THREE Democrats in the Senate thought it would be a good thing to protect babies who survive an attempted abortion. What are they afraid of? Do they think the baby is a threat to the mother after being born. The claim used to be it was about a womans right to choose but does the woman need to choose once the baby is born? All they have to do at that point is walk away. Is killing babies so important they can't let one survive?
I appreciate those 3, Bob Casey (says he is pro-life), Joe Manchin (says once the baby is born he will defend it), and Doug Jones (Alabama won't re-elect him but he is trying to seem conservative), who stood up and said TOO FAR! My question is WHY only three? They are the "extremists" in the Democrat party today. The rest are the mainstream Democrats.
Democrat candidates for President who voted to not protect these babies include Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobitchar, Corey Booker, Kamella Harris, and Kirsten Gillibrand. Don't think uncle Joe would have voted different if he was still a Senator. Maybe he can come out and take a stand to convince me otherwise. Are there any candidates out there who voted for this protection?

How many pubs voted against it? Don't tell me there isn't a difference in parties on this issue.

Here come the uninformed (or red herring) posts about Republicans not doing anything about abortion even though they had "control" of government....

But they dare not support the death penalty for someone that has actually murdered someone.:(

After a person is born, is it still called an abortion?

Cause I'm thinking AOC's parents might want to exercise that right.

1440 week abortion?

Just saying.

When do the dems call it MURDER ?

This is about a crazy as the green new deal.

Watch something other than CNN and you might learn that all but 3 Dems voted to block a bill that would require doctors to save a baby born alive during an abortion or abortion attempt.

You support infanticide with your vote.
Show me where anybody I voted for is this. My state has a huge republican majority and our national representation is republican. The dem senator I have vote for that got elected in the past is gone and never brought up anything like this.

Do you vote Democrat? If so, you actively support this.

You can try to deflect blame all you want, but reality is, you support the party with your vote. The party is ALL IN on killing babies.

Claire would have voted for it, she was totally "pro-choice". Never voted for any abortion restrictions. Hillary would have supported and signed this. The ONLY reason you didn't vote for any of them is they weren't on your ballot.

You have NO way of knowing if they would support this stuff, it was never proposed when they were in the senate. Claire is pro choice but she was never the radical left wing loon you make here out to be. She was about as middle of the road as anybody that held office in this state in a long time. If she wasn't she would never have lasted as long as she did. I realize you guys think anyone to the left of Ted Cruz is a left wing nut job but that don't make it so.

We actually dont think that...hyperbole much? The FACT is only 3 Democratic Senators voted against this. Claire is pro-choice, odds are she would have voted with her party. You dont have to like it or agree, but that's the reality.

You do realize we have laws on the books that says you can't harm, or kill, newborn babies right?

And you realize your party voted to make it legal to let a failed abortion attempt die right? Like that's literally what we're talking about.

Quit being obtuse, quit deflecting, quit just being dumb with your head in the sand.

Democrats (and you DO support the party) are ok with killing newborns. Literally voted on it this past week.

By proxy, you're ok with killing newborns.

Then there would be no reason to oppose this bill. You do realize states are passing bills allowing just that don't you?

and if you vote repub you actively support trump. SMH

That was a vote for t rump.

No...it was a vote for someone I believed in. I didnt trust Hillary anymore than I trusted Trump.

2 years later however, I'm much happier with Trump than I would have been with Hillary. Unemployment is down, no new wars, pulling out of past conflicts, the wall is getting built...where's the downside?

A one word answer to your downside question — Trump.

Now THAT’S funny.

You have no reasonable complaint against his policies, you simply dont like Trump and you get that viewpoint reinforced by every bit of media you consume.

Tell me why you dont like:
-highest minority employment ever
-low unemployment period
-standing up for 1st amendment rights
-lower taxes
-no new wars
-pulling out of old wars and conflicts
-attempting diplomacy with old enemies

Tell you what...I getting tired of your name calling. People like you and millie are what's wrong with our country today. You make a list of things that are so great (in your mind) about him.
He had an opportunity coming in to office to be as great as he thinks he is. He plays strictly to his base. 35-40% is not how you are supposed to limit your representation. He's narcissistic, somewhat of a racist, and lies like there's no tomorrow. I know this will hurt you, but he cares nothing about you and millie just your vote. You two don't make enough money to run with the people he cares about. You guys are always bad mouthing liberals. I guarantee he is more liberal then I am. You are nothing but a WOS. Don't waste your breath responding save it for your blow up doll.

Right, because you're deranged. You have no real argument other than "Orange man bad."
It's SBT so expected but it could have been any lib on this board.
They cite theories and make unfounded accusations then realize they have nothing. Next move, slander those who cite facts.

***YAWN***

I'll say it for the 50th time, I didnt vote for him, and literally everything else you said are more or less baseless CNN talking points. Yes he plays to his base, they all do. All he needs to do is appeal to independent voters and he will cruise to a second term.
