Darn shame KC

Hunt was on the relocation committee and cheered on the rams leaving STL. Then he acted like he didn’t. Screw him and their bandwagon fans.

Shouldn't you be directing your venom at Stan Kroenke ? Hunt had nothing to do with the Rams leaving Gateway.
Stan sucks and I wish him Ill will, but Hunt and Jerry were right there blowing him.

There are a ton of east side people who suddenly became KC fans the last 5 years.
And whomever makes the tv decisions in the STL market thinks we all want to watch the chiefs and the bears every freakin week.

Sickening. Go Lions!!!! Go Chargers!! Go Raiders!! Go Broncos!!! Go Bills!!! Go Bengals!! Go Steelers!!! Go Ravens!!!!

I'm one of the bandwagoners after living there for a couple years. But also side with the screw Clark Hunt crowd. You are 100% accurate. He ranks right up there with Stan and Jerrah in my book.

I guess it was perfectly fine when the Rams left LA to go to St Louis in the first place??? Not like they were a long time franchise to start with
To be completely fair, when Georgia Frontiere made the decision to move from LA to St Louis it was all on the up and up. She was transparent. Her reasons were legitimate. There was no support for the Rams despite their success. The Raiders were killing them. Ironically enough, the Raiders left LA the same year. The voters in LA supported zero growth for the NFL. Stan's plan, and make no mistake, it was a plan put into motion years prior to the actual move, was to paint a picture of zero support for football in St. Louis. But that plan was carried out with intentional failings in the draft and boardrooms. It was exacerbated by Kroenke forcing ridiculous benchmarks for the city to meet on the lease of the dome as well. Kroenke was able to default the lease, but only by his intentional tanking of the franchise. And basically what he did was black ball the city of St Louis from ever having a chance at another NFL franchise. It was criminal. And he paid $790M to not have internal documents made public via disclosure. And the city of St Louis is so corrupt and dysfunctional, they allowed him to pay them off.

Who else would they choose, given the location of the city? Maybe Tennessee? Indianapolis (it's slightly closer than Kansas City)?

St. Louis has lost two football teams and wants to blame Kansas City...That's funny.
Nobody "blamed" KC. What they did say is Clark Hunt is a first class dbag (paraphrased), in the same category as Jerrah Jones, for the way he handled the process. And they're dead on balls accurate.

They couldn't hold onto a team (for a second time) and want someone else to point the finger at. Whatever...

I know this is a tough concept for you to understand. So I'll try to slow it down for someone who responds with "whatever". Nobody that was a Rams fan blames anyone but Stan Kroenke. And none of those with half a brain could blame him for WANTING to move his team. But he gamed the system (the league has rules) to do it. And then you have dbags like Hunt and Jones that didn't exactly operate above board during the process. These two things don't have to be mutually exclusive. Both can be true. Stan paid $790M to keep team and league documents out of discovery. And he did so because guys like Jones and Hunt were going to be held liable as well. All of that is undeniable. Stan created this narrative and simple-minded folks like yourself have bought it.

KC fans will not read this and understand. But you summed it up about as well as I have seen anybody do so. To think St. Louis wouldn't support a pro team is silly. The terrible run they had, if the fans kept supporting them, it would have been criminal.

All of the St. Louis Rams games I went to were packed. They were fun to watch, The Greatest Show on Turf!

Really not tough at all. I honestly don't really care in any way, shape or form how it all went down. But I find it soft to have an external scapegoat.
Who were the conspirators in the Cardinals move?

KC dude has far too much little sibling syndrome going on with the Lou to want to understand it. Rather than read and acknowledge, it's just "meh, screw St Louis". Which cool, but saying things that are patently false isn't part of the deal. Hate St Louis all you want. Meanwhile, until a bunch of folks jumped on the Chiefs bandwagon (myself included) they didn't really seem to care about KC one way or the other. I've always been a St Louis homer. But, and this is just maddening for KC dude, I kinda dig KC and what they have going on. Just wasn't the place for us to live. But it's got to be a well thought of smaller city/urban area in the US.

You know...there's a funny story about that and how I became a Chiefs fan. It was pretty organic really. 2018 we had just moved to suburban KC. Most of my buddies there (had a fairly large group) were Chiefs fans. Would either get together for games or big text threads during. So I watched from afar. I'm a Redzone guy, but would flip over and watch big portions of just the Chiefs. Not fanboying, but just watching. Found myself in awe of how much like the Greatest Show on Turf they were. The offense that was so explosive and the defense that was just barely good enough. Weapons everywhere. Track on the football field. Tyreek was Ahz. Kelce was Bruce. Hunt was a poor mans Faulk, but he was definitely capable. Mahomes was like a younger, more mobile Warner with a freaking rifle for an arm. So for 10 weeks or so I watched and slowly loved watching them play. And then came the moment. They played the Rams on Monday night. Make no mistake about it, I hate watched the Rams. The wife and I loaded up some Peanut wings and settled in. And it was insanity. Chiefs lose a shootout by a FG. By mid 3rd quarter I'm celebrating Chiefs first downs and scores like I've been a fan my whole life. And I have zero doubt hate watching the Rams for that game played a huge role. Next day my wife goes out and buys me my first Chiefs hoodie. Been hooked ever since. We lived in KC at just the right times to get hooked too.

If you don't care, why do you continue to comment? See, that's the lil bro thing shining through. It's an odd thing to me. There is no external scapegoat, whatever the heck that means. Kroenke is solely to blame. It's him and only him. But again, the dude paid over 3/4 of a billion dollars to keep Rams documents out of discovery in court. And those documents and emails would have pulled the curtain back on the dealings (which are pretty public by now) that went down.

Nobody. Bidwell moved the team to increase revenue. Revenue "sharing" back in the 80s was a ton different than it is now. The Cardinals basically had no TV revenue and the city wouldn't build a new stadium. Other than the moving trucks in the middle of the night, Bidwell did it the right way. He said what he was doing about four years before it happened.

But see, if you weren't trying to play some lil bro agenda against all things STL you might actually understand the differences. But I get it, whatever...and you don't care. Make sure to include those in your next reply too.

You are really leaning into this "lil bro" stuff and claiming STL doesn't care about KC in a thread that started with a STL guy mocking a Chiefs injury and then laying into Hunt.
That you are doing this unironically is impressive.

It doesn’t have to be leaned into. Guys like you perpetuate it for all to see. It’s simple math.

Clark Hunt isn’t KC and doesn’t represent them. He’s just another dbag owner. But he’s done one helluva job building the franchise.

I enjoyed KC. Hell, rather enjoyed watching the Royals win their last run. Most Birds fans I know were the same.

When I say they don’t care, it’s just a way of saying STL doesn’t view anything KC as a rivalry. Never have. At least not in my 40+ yrs of fandom.

But alas, I get it. You, KC dude, think it’s unfathomable that STL guy thinks that way. So…ya know…whatever dude.
