With the current rankings I will hold the teams that are still alive and in the playoffs. Let's see which classes have the most/least amount of top ten teams left.

Class 1
1) St. Vincent
2) Adrian
3) Marionville
4) Tipton
5) Pierce City
6) Penney
7) Ash Grove
8) West Platte
9) Windsor
10) Van-Far

3 Teams not in the top ten are left: Crystal City (21), Harrisburg (11), and North Platte (13)

Class 2
1) Fair Grove
2) Lafayette County
3) Valle Catholic
4) Lamar
5) Pembroke Hill
6) Mid-Buchanan
7) Warsaw
8) Bowling Green
9) Caruthersville
10) South Shelby

All 8 teams left are in the top ten so this class is pretty much chalk. The top 2 teams play each other in the Quarterfinals which always sucks. Although, you can definitely make the argument those are not the top two teams in the state.

Class 3
1) Seneca
2) Blair Oaks
3) Lift for Life
4) Mt Vernon
5) Maryville
6) Odessa
7) Dexter
8) Borgia
9) Strafford
10) John Burroughs

Only 1 team left is not ranked in the top ten: Hallsville (26) - Honestly one of the weaker District Champions I've seen in awhile. Good for them to be able to take care of business and beat the teams they have on their schedule. In the end that's all you can do.

Class 4
1) Lutheran North
2) Kearney
3) Warrenton
4) Festus
5) Warrensburg
6) Parkway North
7) Pleasant Hill
8) Savannah
9) Hannibal
10) Osage

2 teams left are not in the top ten: West Plains (13) and Gateway (23) - Poor Gateway is gonna learn this week....

Class 5
1) Cardinal Ritter
2) Platte County
3) Helias
4) Lafayette (Wildwood)
5) Carthage
6) Republic
7) St. Pius X
8) Eureka
9) MICDS
10) Webb City

Only 1 team left that is not in the top ten: Ft. Zumwalt West (17). I think it is interesting that Webb whooped the number 5 team and is number 10. I know their record is what is bringing them down but their recent performances have shown they are capable of beating just about anyone.

Class 6
1) Lee's Summit North
2) Nixa
3) Lee's Summit
4) Liberty
5) Blue Springs South
6) Liberty North
7) CBC
8) Kirkwood
9) Park Hill
10) De Smet

2 teams left are not in the top ten: Rock Bridge (11) and Jackson (14). The top two teams also play in the Quarterfinals for this class. Hate it when that happens but this class is so wide open it seems that the rankings are almost impossible to make accurate.

Webb didn't "whoop" anything

Pretty much all the "sleepers" have been tucked into bed for the offseason and I don't really see anyone busting form big time this week. I am not really a rankings guy anyway but there are a number of these teams that should be ranked higher (MICDS in C5 stands out big time).

I enjoy ranking but some of yall need to learn to watch film. I said it much earlier in the season, Carthage had size but other than that they were unimpressive and had no business up at 5, Webb while some on here are starting to toot the horn cuz of the wins they know deep down this team is not normal webb, they are not near as crisp or fast as in the past. They will be totally overmatched in just a few days and this whole song and dance can be put to rest.

LSN vs Nixa is going to be interesting and is probably the real championship game but if either goes in thinking that and wins they may just jinx themselves for the actual championship game

I like looking at the rankings, not so much because I think they are right, but more because I actually think they are very wrong most of the time and enjoy the debate and banter it creates. I think that most of the time the computer does a better job than the media for obvious bias reasons but it still has a lot of flaws. I think Fair Grove and LC being ahead of Valle doesn't make a whole lot of sense but we will find out shortly. That FG vs. LC game should be a good one and is probably the game I am looking forward to the most besides the LSN vs.Nixa matchup.

you attending or streaming. I got a coworker with a couple boys on LC, they have had some good teams get ended by Lamar last couple years if memory serves me well

Will we see the 2023 C2 championship rematch next weekend? Not sure, though, how it could possibly match last year's best Championship game.

I will either be streaming the game or LSN vs. Nixa, haven't decided yet. LC lost to Lamar in the Quarterfinals last year, Bowling Green in the Quarterfinals the year before, and Lutheran St. Charles in the Semifinals the year before that.

I would think that would be the most likely outcome. Lamar or Valle losing this week would be an upset if you ask most.
I left Pem Hill-Lamar out of Playoff Challenge because I agree the Raiders have seen nothing to prep them for the defending champs. The other game could be good as those two squared off Week 8 but Valle definitely enters as the favorite.

I did not realize just how many class of 25 major and mid college recruits are playing for LSN especially on D. Having lost a heartbreaker two years ago to now eliminated CBC has to have them really incentivized to finally get that C6 title.................

I'm going to compile a list of top college recruits still in the playoffs and post it here in a bit...
