Cubs hurtin for certain

Cardinals run prevention continues. With the Brew crew’s schedule the Cubs are on life support.

Having said that. The Cardinals inability to drive men in from third with one out is driving me bonkers. Goldie can’t hit a fly ball. Bader can’t hit a ground ball. STL got 8 walks and only scored two runs. Holy cow. 12 men LOB.

I did not see a 4 game sweep happening.
But I am greatly appreciative. Fowler hitting the sac fly when we needed it sure did help.

Not that he nor anyone else gives a rat’s arse, but Fowler has definitely worked his way into my good graces.

I sure wish somebody would cool the Brewers off a little before our last 3 games with the Cubs. A 4 game lead goin in would be nice, better take of business out west.

The Pirates closer got arrested, but the whole team should have been charged with impersonating a Major League Baseball team.
Their effort level against Chicago and Milwaukee tarnishes the game. Cincinnati will at least try to beat the Brewers.

Pirates are a joke right now. But I give the Brewers credit for rallying after losing the best player in the National League. They could have packed it up and gone home.
