I think Coronavirus is worse than the seasonal flu but the first rate is the mortality rate outside the US and the second rate is the seasonal flu mortality rate in the US. Mortality rates for other countries is higher for seasonal flu.

Coronavirus is serious but I think there are people stoking the panic flames as well.
