Is the biggest hang up on school choice is that it also allows private schools into the decision?
If they 're taking gubmint money will they be under the same restrictions as public schools? Is the biggest hang up on school choice is that it also allows private schools into the decision?
Not sure I worry to much about that.. but I think they should have to take up to a certain percentage of kids form say all backgrounds. I think that it should addressed that they cannot turn down certain kids until they meet the same diversity, disabled and EL percentage as the public schools district with which they operate. If they 're taking gubmint money will they be under the same restrictions as public schools?
Bye bye bible classes?
Follow the money. My thoughts it is going to come down to public schools fighting for the almighty tax dollar. They have never had to compete against each other. In the past the School board ran your school down, still get the tax money. Oh no, we have to compete against a new or school district that invested in their teachers and campus. This may or may not be the case but it seems to always come down to moneyIs the biggest hang up on school choice is that it also allows private schools into the decision?
